Accompanyed by associated personnel from International Centre of National Development and Reform Commission as well as China-Bulgaria Service Centre, Lachera Diniff, the president of Bulgaria (China) Industrial Chamber of Commerce visited Shandong Fanglei Rose Technology Development Co., Ltd in Jinan for cooperation of rose project and finally successfully reached a cooperative intention.

As per the cooperative intention, Bulgaria-China Fanglei Rose Joint-venture Development Co., Ltd will be established to exploit ten thousand acres of rose garden of high grade with the functions of ornamental value, processing and tourism by introduction of Chinese planting technology. Furthermore, rose will be selected by local manufacturing company for deep processing into additional products of rose, and market of Bulgaria essential oil and rose water will be explored in China. The cooperation between China and Bulgaria can not only make the utmost of advantages and resources of both parties to research and develop novel products, but also fill the gap of top-grade rose products in the domestic market and abroad.

Pingyin Rose

As an important raw material of natural aromatic plant and aromatic industry, rose is noted for its high economic value. Pingyin, a county located in Jinan, is the honored hometown of rose. Rose has a long history of development and utilization, addtitional products of which are well sold and popular in domestic market and abroad. Total number of rose cultivars in the primary planting regions of Pingyin is up to 50, out of which Fenghua Rose, Zizhi Rose and Pingyin Rose rugosa cv. Plena, introduced from and improved on the basis of Grasse Rose and Damascus Rose, are planted for large fields.

Fanglei owns 10 thousands of acres of selenium-enriched rose planting base in Pingyin and is resolved to be the leading enterprise in the rose industry.

Bulgaria Rose

Bulgaria rose, whose history of planting in Bulgaria traced back to 300 years ago, is one of the most prestigious rose varieties in the world. Bulgaria is noted as the State of Roses, in which rose with the title of the King of Flowers is treated as the National Flower. In Bulgaria, annual production of rose oil is up to 1.2-1.5 tons, accounting for 70-80% that of the world and ranking the first in the world.

Bulgaria rose is intensively planted in the Valley of Roses, which is located in the southside of Balcan Mountain and has the length of over 120 km and the width of 11 km with limpid river running through. 

Top quality of the rose is rooted in the center of Balcan Mountain, whose production of rose oil accounts for 25% that of Bulgaria and enjoys great reputation in the world. The Valley of Roses is the kingdom of the rose as well as noted tourist destination, where thousands of tourists come for visit every year.
